Worth, formerly of Monahans, died Friday, Oct. 5, 2007, at Baylor All Saints Hospital in Ft. Worth. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Bonita Snailum Pyatt and Claudia Snailum Nunley, and his brothers, Billy Joe Snailum and Charles Ray Snailum. A memorial service will be held at the church at 10:00 am on Friday, March 7, 2008 with Pastor Cecil Maxey officiating. Bob was a long time member of St. Marks Episcopal Church where he served on the Bishops Committee a number of times. Survivors include three daughters, Jolene Mohindroo and husband Raj of Katy, Vonda Porter of Ft. Worth, Ailese Blomquist and husband Kirk of Haltom City; one son, Richard Porter of Plainview; two brothers, Billy Porter and wife Joyce of Dallas, Grady Porter and wife Ruth of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; two brothers-in-law, Bennie Clay of Lubbock, Audrey Smith of Wisconsin; sister-in-law, Ann Smith of Lubbock; two grandchildren, Krishan Chris Mohindroo and Katrina Mohindroo both of Katy. He was born July 16, 1924, in Las Cruces, N.M., the son of Harold and Lina Brownley Scott and was raised in Pecos. Mr. Maruffo is survived by his wife, Margie of Monahans; sons, Jaime Marrufo, Jr. and wife Mayra, Orlando Marrufo and fianc Crystal and Joshua Marrufo, all of Monahans; his daughter, Maritza Marrufo of Monahans; his father, Rafael Marrufo, Sr. of Monahans; one brother, Rafael Marrufo, Jr. of Carlsbad, NM and sisters, Antonia Gonzales and husband Felipe of Monahans and Bertha Porras and husband Carlos Ruben of Pecos, Texas. Scott received numerous honors and served his community on countless boards and committees, but he was proudest of the work he did as board member and President of the West of the Pecos Museum which opened in 1963 and became a centerpiece of the Pecos community.
